People’s interest in the theme was so great that more than ten people who were in charge of media from all over the world joined on the day of the seminar.
Although more than 2million foreigners are living in Japan, the fact that they have trouble finding a place to live is not well known.
Our government has launched “Visit Japan Campaign” and promoting it in order to establish the nationwide sightseeing business and also, the groups in the real estate industry also started making a serious action.
The activity of International exchange committee from Nikkankyo has been more activated since 5years ago. They have made a guidebook for a foreigners housing research and housing promotion. They used it at those housing promotion seminars for real estate agents all over Japan.
Also, both in 2003 and 2004, they held a real estate seminar at Nankai University in China and it got a huge response. Thanks to the committee’s steady efforts, real estate agents, who get down working on foreigners problems, and companies, which offer services that could be help to solve those problems, have been increased.
