創生水 Sosei-Sui water: If we can change water,
we can change everything...

times03.JPG

(article from the Time Magazine issued 30th JULY 2010)
Tominaga: Mr. Fukai, please outline the significance of your
business and your vision for the future.

Fukai: I have three key points to mention.

1. Our Sosei-Sui water, when mixed with oil, enables a detergent-free
daily lifestyle and farming that does not use agricultural chemicals,
thus giving rise to an environmentally friendly industrial revolution
among general households as well as business sectors such as
beauty salons and restaurants. Not only does our Sosei-Sui water
contribute to minimization of production costs, fuel costs and
waste-treatment costs, but effective use of water also leads to
the reduction of CO2 emissions in all respects.

2. I’m committed to bringing about innovation in areas such as
fuel cells and electric vehicles by inventing a new process of
hydrogen-gas generation that will revolutionize the conventional
concept of power generation.

3. Usually, we can achieve a temperature of only around 1,400℃ by
burning fossil fuels. But I’m determined to cause a great
revolution in the world of boilers. To realize it, I’ll develop a new
combustion concept, a method that is free of CO and CO2
emissions: a process by which a Sosei-Sui-based emulsion is
burned at high temperatures of over 2,000℃.

The machine to produce my proprietary Sosei-Sui is entirely
based on principles of the natural world, such as that of the waterfall
and of the tornado. The result is water with the same kind of quality
that dates back to centuries ago. “Intrinsically, water does not mix
with oil. Water is H2O. It freezes at 0℃. If water accumulates and
ages, it will become stagnant” — all such established knowledge is
wrong! The water I make never freezes at 0℃. It only freezes at
-3℃ or below. And our water mixes with oil, thanks to emulsification.
Our clean water never becomes stagnant, even left alone for as long
as 13 years. Our water also differs from common water in terms of
specific gravity. Vaporization rates differ between our water and
ordinary water, even when heat of the same caloric value is applied.
Our Sosei-Sui generator unit is attached just behind the water
service meter. This means that Sosei-Sui is available as much as
you need no matter where the faucet is: toilet, bath, or kitchen.

Installation of this generator unit completely eliminates the need for
kitchen and washing detergents, shampoos and conditioners, and
restroom and car cleaners. Many women who have used Sosei-Sui
are amazed that they could remove makeup entirely without
cleansing cream.

For laundromats, we named our Sosei-Sui-based washing
machine the “Washing Forum,” and clothes are completely cleaned

elimination of detergents shortens washing time to only 15 minutes,
compared with the 40 minutes usually required. Electricity bills and
water consumption can be halved, meaning increased profits. Even
higher profitability is ensured because there is no need to use
detergents. It is said to take three years from the point of initial
investment for a laundromat to go into the black. But Sosei-Suiinstalled
laundromats are in the black from the very first month of
operation. So are beauty salons, since they wash customers’ hair
with water only, not needing shampoos or conditioners. I’ve heard
that a professional beautician feeling the texture of the customer’s
hair was surprised by the outstanding cleansing effect of Sosei-Sui.
What’s more, the hands of those working in such beauty salons no
longer suffer from rough skin, since contamination by surface-active
agents and environmental hormones has been eliminated.

In the past, I made a presentation at the Foreign Correspondents’
Club of Japan about the dioxins generated as a result of chemical
reactions between surface-active agents and substances like
permanent-wave lotions and hair dyes. Acknowledging that my
presentation had been endorsed by Environment Canada as well as
by major analytical institutions in Germany and Japan, both the
Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Ministry of the
Environment of Japan conceded that all of my points were valid.

Tominaga: Could you explain the characteristics of Sosei-Sui water?

Fukai: First, it has interfacial activity allowing water and oil to mix
together; second, it has excellent cleansing power; and third, it is a
deoxidizing water. People often talk about oxidation and reduction.
In short, oxidation translates into becoming foul or going bad,
whereas reduction means revival. Determination of water quality,
whether it is foul or reduced, is expressed in millivolt (mV) value. If it
is measured as 250mV or higher, the water is defined as being
oxidized, and at a value of less than 250mV it is defined as being in
the reduced state. The same applies to human blood. A newborn’s
blood is — 150mV. As we age, our blood becomes oxidized; in
other words, ageing means blood oxidization. Oxidized blood
oxidizes your skin, which leads to ageing.
For example, the spring waters of Lourdes in France and
Nordenau in Germany are famed as good-quality waters. I visited
these countries and brought water samples back to Japan to
determine their active hydrogen content and dissolved oxygen.
While the samples were found to have an active hydrogen content
superior to that of similar waters available in Japan, it was only one
tenth that of our Sosei-Sui. With common water, the amount of
dissolved oxygen it contains is limited. As such, it becomes
saturated quickly, even when oxygen is forcibly injected into the
water. Temperatures also concern saturation. Suppose the value
8mg-O/L at 25℃ indicates a saturated state. In our case,
the value is 11mg-O/L,which is a super-saturated state.
Water that is deoxidized emulsifies, plus it
contains large amounts of dissolved oxygen, active hydrogen, and free carbon
dioxide . . . Very few waters attain these five requirements. Possessing these five
conditions, our Sosei-Sui is beginning to produce unbelievable results in the fields of
emulsion fuel and hydrogen gas.

Tominaga: Is Sosei-Sui-based emulsion
studied at universities and other institutes?

Fukai: Dr. S. Tsuruno, a professor emeritus at the National Defense Academy of
J a p a n , is a specialist in combustion engineering. He conducted a combustion
test on our Sosei-Sui-based emulsion. His evaluation was as follows:

“Sosei-Sui in its emulsified form is
separated into hydrogen and oxygen as its
temperature rises due to the heat of the fuel
oil burned, then the separated hydrogen
burns again. Usually, the energy required to

times%2001.JPG

separate hydrogen and oxygen is equivalent to that required to
bond hydrogen and oxygen. But the Sosei-Sui emulsion is different:
40% of the hydrogen in the water is consumed as the energy to
generate heat and the remaining 60% is used as the energy to
separate the hydrogen and oxygen. Therefore, it follows that 30%
to 40% in fuel saving is possible if you can always maintain 40% of
hydrogen in the water.”

Hydrogen gas is slow to spread due to several drawbacks such
as steam reformation. The use of petroleum-derived materials naturally
involves CO2 emissions, which are harmful to the environment. Also,
the petroleum-derived material and water both need to be vaporized,
which requires a significant amount of energy. A number of technologies
to generate hydrogen using catalysts like active aluminum and active
magnesium are already patented. The problem is, when such catalysts
are put into water, a small amount of hydrogen is produced but the
reaction stops soon, due to the forming of an oxide film.

However, I became the first in the world to discover a process
whereby a solid object like aluminum is able to react with water to
generate hydrogen gas. For example, from an empty beer can the
amount of obtainable hydrogen gas is 1.7 to 2.2 liters per gram of
aluminum, and 3.3 liters per gram of magnesium.
It seems that God allows me to enjoy climbing the stairs step by
step, so that I may come awake as I carry out various trials and errors.
I’m convinced that in the years ahead, water will emerge in a new
form of far greater importance and interest than petroleum. The
world should invest increasingly more into technologies that do not
pollute water at all, rather than into those aiming to purify contaminated
water. In this context, the underlying approach in the Water Pollution
Prevention Act — to “purify polluted water” — is wrong.

In my opinion, regulations regarding water pollution are too generous.
If the government tightens regulations against the quality of water
discharged, it will encourage the invention of good technologies,
which in turn will give rise to new and promising industries.
The administration is only willing to subsidize those companies that
engage in removing contaminants. Consciousness reform is
necessary for both the administration and related industries.

Tominaga: Thank you very much for your time. I wish you continued
success in the Sosei-Sui project.

Mr. Toshiharu Fukai, President of Sousei World Co., Ltd., will
speak to the general assembly of the Academy of International
Management, Cultures and Transdisciplinary Studies
(AIMCATS), held at Seattle University Oct 22 through 24, 2010.
The Academy is headed by Dr. Motofusa Murayama, Visiting
Professor at Seattle University.

In Japan, over 300,000 dogs and cats are killed at public health centers

FROM EDITOR

dog-rights.JPG

In Japan, over 300,000 dogs and cats are killed at public health centers, every year. I worry about it, and feel very distressed about this big problem.

About two years ago , I decided to start rescuing dogs, and became a member of the volunteer organization. I always adopt sheltered dogs temporarily, until the volunteer group finds a "new family" for them.

And, as I get deeper into this, I realize how difficult the situation is.
It becomes a vicious circle.

So, I think "What should I do???" , "How can I help???".

"How can I save the dogs???"

"How can I keep the dogs smiling???"

And then, in January of this year, I decided to established a company "Dog-Rights Co., Ltd" with really like-minded friends.

From the beginning, we decided to publish a free magazine named "Dog-Rights", and from January, we delivered this to many dog shops, animal hospitals, grooming salons, and dog cafes in TOKYO.
It contains lots of helpful information about dogs, information on dog's health from vets, real life situations of homeless and sheltered dogs...and so forth.

In this way, we want to let people know the "Real situations of dogs", "Real big problems of dogs".
This really addresses the feelings we have of "what should I do" and "what can I do" that are in the hearts of so many individuals ! !

For now, we are going to publish the free magazine every other month, and propose many ways to give dogs happy lives.

And we are going to donate part of the profits from sales to many dog shelters in JAPAN to save the dogs !

FROM JAPAN, we are going to transmit our thoughts, expressions and actions all over the world ! !

Mount Fuji is a breathtakingly beautiful mountai

FROM EDITOR
mt.fuji.JPG

Mount Fuji is a breathtakingly beautiful mountain located near the center of Japan. Since ancient times, the people of Japan have held it close to their hearts, regarding it as a source of national spirit and a wellspring of culture. It has been the subject of innumerable works of art, including paintings, prose, poems, and drama. The history of the peak is closely intertwined with the history of Japanese culture itself. At the same time, it has exerted an influence on many foreign artists as well.
Mount Fuji has long been an object of religious worship as the dwelling place of the gods. The Japanese people have traditionally seen the divine in all aspects of nature, and Mount Fuji, in particular, has been venerated as a sacred peak, becoming deeply ingrained in people’s minds and their daily lives.
Culture, as created by humankind, is passed down through the generations as the collective memory of groups of people, which is then accumulated and shaped over time. Here, I hope to convey the immense impact Mount Fuji has had on the culture and art of Japan by introducing many outstanding works of art that depict the peak. In so doing, it is my wish that many people around the world will agree with me that Mount Fuji truly deserves to be designated a World Cultural Heritage site.

Recently, purchases of drinking water have increased. Water is also used for purposes ofdrinking: washing one’s face, cleaning one’s teeth, using a bidet, watering the garden, clothes washing, bathing, cooking, washing fruit and vegetables, doing the dishes. One famous hotel now offers a VIP service - likely to have already been experienced by those who have to maintain their looks and health such as top-grade athletes, entertainers and businesspeople - where you can bathe in premium drinking water. However, you cannot stay healthy and beautiful if the things you put into your mouth aren’t clean. The human body is 60 to 70 percent water. The fish, vegetables and fruit we eat are under great threat due to man-made products which pollute our water. The things we use daily – scientifically-created products like shampoo, toothpaste and detergents – are flushed into our water supply. Is there a way we can stop this? If we can get rid of these contaminants by using water itself, it may be a possibility. Such an answer lies in the book,

The book “The Day Detergents Disappear” (“Senzai ga kieru hi”) is also making news in China. As you may know, water shortages and water pollution are extremely serious problems there. Some experts point out that because China’s rapid economic growth is predicted to continue well into the future, its environment will not recover unless proper precautions are taken. Sosei Water’s full-scale appearance in China may therefore be sooner rather than later – it is very useful in reducing water usage and water pollutants. China’s developmental pace is said to be dependent on the speed of such decisions. Like the Chinese government, the Japanese government and Japanese companies should also act in accordance with what is truly needed by the country, regardless of the obstacles.

Japan and Immigration – The Path Ahead
sekaichizu-arigatou.jpg

Present Japan is facing various crises; a weakening economic influence, a widening gap between rich and poor, an increasing elderly population and declining birthrate with its associated labor shortage. There is heated debate over how best to respond to them, but while there is wide variety of opinion, one thing is clear – Japan’s future prosperity will require more immigration.

While the debate surrounding immigration is contentious and divisive, the need for more immigrants is being recognized. Needless to say, the economic benefits of increased immigration are obvious. However, the tendency to discuss immigration issues in an economic frame should be changed. If not, immigrants will only be perceived as resources, and the response will be more to “tolerate their entry” rather than “positively accept them”. As a result, the abundance of other benefits that arise through increased immigration will be overlooked.

As an Australian – a country with many immigrants – I see these benefits daily. In fact, Australia owes much of its prosperity to immigration. Because of it, Australia has become a vibrant and diverse multicultural society. Through the coexistence of various races, the world-view of people has broadened, and has led to a deeper respect and appreciation towards different cultures.

Of course, immigration has its problems; crime may increase, and racist conservative reactions will grow stronger and spread. However, through intercultural understanding and a positive reception from the local people, it will become easier for immigrants to assimilate, and a society based on peaceful coexistence will blossom. In this way, the problems mentioned earlier will decrease.

The establishment of a peaceful multiracial society is not created by government policy, but by the response and actions from general society. There is no doubt that immigration to Japan will increase from now. This reality should not be opposed; rather, it should be thought of a big chance for Japan’s rebirth as a prosperous nation.

Internship Report

This January for around 4 weeks, I undertook an internship at Global Community. As a foreign student majoring in Journalism and Japanese, it was a unique experience. Not only did I learn more about Japanese language and culture, as an aspiring journalist, it was an opportunity to genuinely test my skills and ability. As a result, in an industry where experience is the most required asset, this internship was extremely beneficial.

Thanks to the interviews and activities as a part of this internship, I was able to meet many interesting people working in a wide range of fields. Those that stick out in my mind were pro-diver Masanobu Shibuya-san and head of the Yamamoto School Masanobu Yamamoto-san. Seeing people who devote their lives fully to improving society, I too strongly felt I wanted to contribute to society in my future life and career.

In a Japan where foreigners will increase from now, Global Community will continue to play an important role in supporting and developing intercultural understanding; I am happy I was able to help out in that role. Finally to Miyazaki-san, who guided me throughout my internship, I would like to express my deepest thanks and gratitude.

Topic: "HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE" - Tips & Tricks for Building and Monetizing a Website for Non-Techies

Our presenter, Honor Dargan, first became interested in website building back in 2005 when she set up her first website about one of her favorite holiday destinations - Bali. It was an ambitious idea but hard to bring to fruition, and after about 6 months she gently laid her first site to rest. However, Honor didn't give up at that stage, but learned from her mistakes and is now the busy owner of successful website TokyoTopia.com. TokyoTopia is a website dedicated to short-term and long-term visitors to Tokyo. The goal of Honor's website is clear: "Tokyo Made Simple".

Honor declares herself a non-tecchie, but is passionate about helping others learn how they can use the web to grow their own online businesses without having to be a tech guru.

In this presentation Honor will be sharing information about some of the services available to build a website as well as looking at ways to earn income from your efforts. Some of the key points that Honor will be addressing during her talk will be:

1. The key differences between online and offline businesses.
2. How to build a website that works.
3. An overview of the various monetization options available.
4. The affiliate marketing model and how it works.

After her presentation Honor will spend time taking questions from the audience and addressing specific topics as requested.

If you've ever wanted to make money online by building and monetizing a website but didn't know where to start, be sure to attend PCC #65 on September 3rd at the Pink Cow!!

From Melbourne, Australia, Steve McLeod - singer, songwriter, guitarist, got hooked to music at 4 years old after seeing a Prince video. He began studying classic piano. By his early teens his love and understanding of music had grown, wanting to learn more instruments and styles. The guitar became his main focus, then the drums, bass and songwriting.

After high-school, Steve started experimenting with original compositions. His love for jazz found him in Los Angeles at Richie Kotzen's recording studio, recording a solo jazz-instrumental album.Whilst working on this material, Steve was working on productions and songwriting for various Australian bands and singers. One demo even caught the eye of EMI's Executive Director, who encouraged Steve to take a more rock, vocal direction - closer to his initial experimenting.

In 2006/07 Steve moved to Los Angeles where he attended the Musician's Institute, furthering his musical landscape. During this time studying and working on his album, Steve wrote and produced music for Emmy Award winning TV in the U.S.

With his debut album "Human Uniform" now completed - Steve wrote, produced, arranged, sang all vocals, played all instruments on this album. It was recorded in various studios in Los Angeles and Melbourne. For interviews and clips go to myspace.com/steviemyspace.

Please welcome Sept. featured artist: Scott Larson
Yoyogi Daze Faced

For the last few years Tokyo photographer Scott Larson religiously spent every warm Sunday evening in a hazy state of blissful inebriation at those free outdoor trance parties in Yoyogi Park. Those parties have sadly been shut down by the mayor of Tokyo. For the month of September The Pink Cow will be exhibiting Scott's photos in a tribute to those late, great parties. Taken with 2-3 second shutters and motion blur his photos exemplify the spirit of those now defunct free and harmless dance parties. OPENING RECEPTION SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13th. DJ's, live music, free entry.

Plus – Pink Cow Art Blender, a chilled-out gathering of video artists, Vjs, Djs, animators, filmakers, live music, artists, projection & performers. To perform, present, show work, enjoy and meet new people or have any new ideas just mail us at cowmail@thepinkcow.com

The ヌヌ(Nu Nu) Music Listening Experience is a new way for artists to be
heard and receive feedback about their particular sound, style, single
release test responses, and marketability. Serious artists wishing to gain
new fans and penetrate earlobes are encouraged to submit their music. The

environment that is outside of a club atmosphere, and not as demanding as
website online players and rating systems. Participants objectively listen
or passively lounge in the mood while completing a survey about a featured
selection. The venues of the Nu Nu change in order to diversify the listening
audience and atmosphere to receive artist’s music. The Nu Nu aims to be the
