Thank you very much for your continued support. Thanks to all of you, Global Community has reached its 17th year since its founding, continuing to promote interaction between Japanese people and foreign residents in Japan.

  1. We will hold the “International Red-ｗhite Singing Festival in Toyoake City” in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture, where there are many children of foreign nationals. On September 11, I interviewed people who have been supporting this project.

Regarding the 14th International Kōhaku Singing Contest in 2026

Date and time: November 29, 2026, 13:00–16:00

Venue: Minoh Maple Hall
Supported by: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Consortium for Supporting International Students in Osaka, ASEAN Center Japan, and Overseas Japanese Association

Admission: Free

This year as well, following selection events in São Paulo and Los Angeles, two representatives will be invited to participate in the Minoh event. In addition to singing performances, the program will include a fashion show, performances by top dancers from the Kyoto Student Festival, and special international guest performances. We also have activities designed for young children and their mothers, so families are warmly invited to join us.
