The festival took place on November 17, 2024, at Maple Hall in Minoh City, Osaka.
It featured participants from various countries, including representatives from Brazil and Indonesia, who performed alongside local singers.
The event promotes international understanding and unity through the joy of singing. Thank you to all who supported and participated!
This year, participants, volunteers, and the venue sang "We Are the World" together at the FINALE event.
In Indonesia, a selection event was held in August with support from a partner company, resulting in two representatives attending the Osaka event.
In São Paulo, Brazil, a selection event was held for the first time with a Japanese-Brazilian karaoke group, and one representative came to Japan .
Around 10 countries participated, divided into red and white teams, performing J-POP, anime songs, and enka. Japanese participants also sang in Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, and English, receiving enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
国際紅白歌合戦は、大阪と São Paulo、日本とブラジルの絆を強化し、2025年の大阪万博に向けて貢献しています。このフェスティバルでは、ブラジル代表のパウラ・ヒラマが大阪観光局会長賞を受賞し、石川さゆりの「津軽海峡・冬景色」を披露しました。
日本人参加者はタイ語、ベトナム語、中国語、英語で歌い、日本在住の外国人はJ-POP、アニメソング、演歌を日本語で披露しました。参加者は赤組と白組に分かれ、計20グループが競演しました。若手タレントの中には、6月と8月にそれぞれの国で予選を勝ち抜いたブラジルとインドネシアの代表も含まれていました。このイベントは、文化交流を促進し、大阪と São Paulo、さらには日本とブラジルの関係を深める機会となっています。2025年の大阪万博に向けて、このような国際的な文化イベントは、両国間の理解と友好を深める重要な役割を果たしています。
オンラインで、サンパウロ（ブラジル）とセブ（フィリピン）を結び、ゲスト歌手の動画が会場で流れ、その後、大
阪と姉妹都市であるサンパウロの日系人カラオケ協会の審査委員長のエビハラ氏とZOOMで繋ぎ、現地の
カラオケ文化が紹介された。その後は、2017-2018年のセブ開催をサポートしたCebu Music Learning Center
と繋ぎ、今後の協力についても紹介された。
